Installation :
1. Clean the shiny part of the ring with rust-resistent oil before
installation.
2. Use special purpose tools for assembling in installation, no matter
what size seal it is, so that the seal is put in the right place.
3. Apply SAE30-40 oil to the shiny part of seal before integrating a
pair of seals; (Note: No other surface should be tainted with oil)
4. The D clearance, as shown in this leaflet is the minimum size
allowable under normal linear velocity. As the velocity increases, D
clearance must be increased accordingly,
5. It’s normal to observe some oil swung out from the outer
integrating surface withen the first one hour of breaking in. It’s
lubricating first one hour of breaking in. It’s lubricating.
